Even in Winter by Jenny Anderson

Even in winter I hear your Voice.

Cold

Stark

Barren

But signs of life,

Tracks in the snow.

Even winter can be healing,

Not just in hibernation

But wide awake freshness

Nipping at my cheeks

Even the winter wind whispers your Name.

Looking out across the woods,

Nothing hinders, nothing hidden,

My gaze widens.

My soul stretches out,

Breathes deep,

Welcomes Life.

Even in winter.
